The symptoms you are experiencing are because of vertigo caused by inner ear infection. Vertigo is the feeling of dizziness when you move your position of head due to fluid circulation and pressure changes in inner ear. This occurs due to infection of inner ear. Inner ear usually does not have any fluid, but the fluid may seep into inner ear from other areas due to infection.
Treating inner ear infection may relieve you from vertigo and pain in ear. You should do an antibiotic course. I would advise taking Cefixime (Topcef) 200 mg twice a day for five days, if you are not allergic to Cephalosporin group of medicines. Acetaminophen 500 mg or Ibuprofen 400 mg may help in relieving pain.
If you do not find relief with these medicines, you should visit an ENT surgeon as fluid removal from inner ear or minor surgical procedure may be required.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.
