What Causes Dizziness While On Metoprolol?
Hi Dr. Rynne: I am new to Metoprolol; have been taking since late January of this year; I also take Losartan for high blood pressure; I had a hemorrhagic stroke in July 2016; I have been experiencing brief come-and-go very very light feelings of discomfort in my head; are these attributable to taking Metoprolol?

I read your query and from you describe it is a known side effect of taking metoprolol.It causes Dizziness and headache in 10 % patients who take it.
It will resolve on its own with time.
