What Causes Dizziness While Moving My Head After An Injury?
I have been having groggy spells then what feels like dizziness. Also a numb feeling in my head. I fell some time back and hit my head on a metal plate at the bottom of a slot machine. I think the problem is coming from my neck, because when I move my head is when it happens the most. After I hit my head they did take X-rays and didn t find anything
This is very serious. Occasionally, blow to the head may be severe enough to cause bleeding in the brain. This type of bleeding can cause an intracranial hematoma, a serious condition that puts pressure on the brain. Seek emergency medical attention if you experiences: unconsciousness, confusion or disorientation, vomiting, mood changes, memory loss, and persistent headache after head injury. Advice 1. Go to emergency ward of hospital 2. Do not take ibuprofen as it might increase risk of bleeding 3. Paracetamol 500 mg per oral when you feel headache 4. Cinnarizine 25 mg every 8 hours per oral for 7 days 5. Investigation a. MRI of brain Thanks
