What Causes Dizziness On Standing Up, With Otherwise Normal Health Parameters?

Hi, i am a 66 yrs old male, exercise regularly, never been in the hospital. My cholesterol and sugar is normal My normal blood pressure was always 110/70, but it increased to 133/80 a few months ago, and also I feel a little dizzy when I stand up quickly. If I take some blood thinner, this symptom will go away. Is this normal or there are something I have to worry about?

the symptom you are describing is of postural hypotension. for that blood thinner is not required.but keeping in v/o of your age you are requested to go for CT OR MRI of brain once to rule out stroke related changes in your brain.only to r/o.if that is normal no need to worry and have to take lemonade with that kind of symptoms.but any change is there initial detection will start initial treatment that is more beneficial.in addition to above you need to maintain timely diet and regular exercise for maintaining health.
