What Causes Dizziness, Headache And Vertigo While Suffering From Diabetes And Hypertension?

Hello, I have suffered from dizziness/vertigo for the past 14 years on and off, lately I have been experiencing more than usual headaches, waking me up from pounding. I have vertigo everytime I turn on my right side, when I tilt my head or move from side to side quickly. I have had 2 MRI s with normal results other than an empty sella. I am a 53 year old female, I have had a complete hysterectomy, have had my gallbladder removed and have had 2 vaginal births. I do have exstensive health issues including Diabetes type 2, hypothyroidism, GERD, hypertension and high cholesterol.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The vertigo and dizziness you are having may be related to middle ear issues. It can be benign positional vertigo or Meniere disease. Get checked by ENT doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
