What Causes Dizziness, Fatigue And Drowsiness In An Elderly Person With Diabetes?
67 year old female here with type 2 diabetes. Been prescribed losartan 25 mg as a preventative . My blood pressure has never been high. I have been feeling light headed, weak in the legs and sleepy all the time. Have lost my balance due to dizzyness this week. Last 2 BP readings have been 116/ 68. could my blood pressure be causing the weakness and fatigue? Should I ask for a lower dosage of Losartan

You can continue the losartan at the prescribed dose. Conditions like anemia and thyroid dysfunction has to be ruled out. An echo test can be done to rule out any cardiac causes which can present with almost similar symptoms.
