What Causes Dizziness At Night?

I am 68 yrs old and workout approx. 1 hour at the gym daily. I do not take any medicine. The past two weeks at night when I go to bed sometimes it feels like my head goes into a spin. Like I cannot turn on my right side to my left side without having to think that my brain is loose or something. I just want to close my eyes and lay still so the feeling goes away.

Hi,

It is positional vertigo and you really need to consult an ENT specialist. They will tell you about a set of exercises and medicine which you can take.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita,
Ophthalmologist
