What Causes Dizziness And Numbness In Right Side Of Face?

I started getting dizzy a few days ago and didn t think anything of it, until today. I just went to the store, next thing I know I started shaking really bad and the right side of my face became numb. I took my medicine for the shaking which took over 30 minuete s or so but the numbness on the right side of my face is still there.

Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a partial seizures. I would like to know if you have been diagnosed with Epilepsy. What kind of therapy are you taking for shaking? You should know that the numbness may persist up to 24 hours after a seizure. It is quite normal. Anyway, you need to review your actual therapy with your doctor, as it seems that it is not very effective in controlling seizures.

Hope to have been helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further

Kind regards,
Dr. Aida
