I had my left knee replaced for the third time on July 27, 2015, (4-1/2 hr surgery). Had to go back in on Aug 7, 2015 (1-1/2 hr surgery). I get dizzy when standing sometimes, was outside with sons and bent ov r at the waist for about a minute and when stood up I almost blacked out. I went back in the house after that. I don t have any energy at all. Could this be enemia?

Hello,

Giddiness which may aggravated after standing position may be due to postural hypotension or anemia or cardiac problems like ischemia or arrythmia etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. please get it done hemoglobin status, ECG, standing and lying position blood pressure. Drink plenty of liquids, use tablet vertin 8mg thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
