What Causes Dizziness And Excessive Weight Gain?

I m having ongoing episodes of weird feelings of lightheadedness\dizzy spells. It has been a getting worse. Started a few days ago with slight episodes and now it is ongoing with little relief of it. Have had a headache but goes away with ibuprofen. I m 40 yrs old. Healthy. No medication. I weigh 160 lbs, weighed 130 3 months ago so I have been gaining weight. I ve been eating alot more but am pretty active. Dont feel ike the weight gain is out of the normal. I just need to go back to starting right. Yesterday I cut out sugar and red meat. I m very concerned with this dizzy\light-headedness
