What Causes Dizziness And Excessive Day Time Sleepiness?

Hello, Recently I have experienced dizziness x 2 weeks, then stopped. I am sleepy during the day, despite 7 hours sleep. I do get up during the night to urinate. Further, it is hard to get up from a seated position...have to push harder. At work I am quite successful, and recently got two promotions. I am in an academic setting, and the new dean makes things harder than they need to be....drama king.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have gone through the details given in your query. There are a few things which if present in the information would have helped to understand better and give opinion. Like weight, height, age, extent of any exercise etc. However, from the available information, I suggest that please get your blood glucose fasting, PP and HbA1c%, BP as well as thyroid assay done. This is to check if you have developed diabetes or any thyroid related problems. Even job which is mainly a sitting job can also contribute to blood glucose increase. Plus the stressful atmosphere at work place can also contribute. After getting those tests please do come back. Thanks.
