What Causes Dizziness And Depression When BP Drops?

Around 7:30pm my bp starts dropping like a rock, and then fluctuates between 145/95 to 100/60. I get light headed and dizzy but don t pass out. This started about a week and a half ago. It doesn t matter where I am or what I m doing; outside on a 3mile walk in the cold, or cuddled up in bed watching Netflix. I also get moodier and more depressed. What s going on with me?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have dizziness and depression when BP drops. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like blood vessel defects, adrenal gland abnormality , dehydration or heart dosease . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist for proper examination . Doctor may order ECG, TMT along with complete blood profile and echo . Doctor may prescribe antienetic drug , antidepressants , may refer you to endocrinologist or prescribe medications fludrocortisone . For now drink plenty or water and increase salt consumption .
