What Causes Dizziness And Breathing Difficulty While On Amlodipine?

I am 46 years old, I have a duodenal ulcer and I have hypertension, and I take for it Amlodipine 5mg and bisoprolol 2.5 mg, and amitriptyline 10 mg bedtime. 1 years ago increased rate heart beat and I had dizziness and difficulty breathing They took me to the hospital and I did ECG, it was normal, before one week the same symptoms repeated and I did ECG and I also did troponin, and X ray chest, all were normal. but I still feel difficulty breathing and weaken in my heart and some times like arrhythmia and anxiety .please your advice. Thank you

Hi my dear,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

The chest pain along with difficulty in breathing are due to duodenal ulcer you have as long as cardiac issues have been excluded so far. However, I'm still thinking you should run Holter monitoring to exclude arrythmia issues.

I advise to consult with gastroenterologist further and run upper endoscopy in order to treat the ulcer adequately.
I am sure you won't have difficulty in breathing anymore.
