What Causes Dizziness Along With Vomiting And Excessive Sweating?

Hi I am aged 66 yrs.(men) today early morning at 5.30 when I had prayers and sat to take rest I felt dizziness, vomiting like sensation and start sweating and feel to go for motion and my mouth stared drying. I took a glass of water and went to release motion and after that my mouth started drying and I took water in small quantities.there was no vomiting. I took rest and now feel better, I don t have any disease except knee pain, causing very difficult in siting and standing. Pl. help me to know the reason of this causes. This is the first time it happened to me. Awaiting for ur advise.

Hello and welcome to Ask a Doctor service. I have read through your question and here is my opinion. Sudden sweating, with dizziness and nausea, are all pointing towards an underlying cardiac problem. Do you have any history of cardiac problem in the past? I would advise you to get yourself checked as soon as possible. Get yourself checked for high blood pressure and also get an ECG done to rule out any cardiac ischemia.
