What Causes Dizziness Along With Numbness On The Face?

About half a hour ago it felt like the left side of my face was numb but I had no face drooping, numbness, difficulty understanding or talking or dizziness. And now it feels a little tight but that could just be nervousness. Is this something to worry about or could it just be linked to anxiety?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

In my opinion, the symptoms seem to be related to anxiety.

I suggest you to use an anti-anxiety medication to manage anxiety such as Xanax.

This is a prescribed medication so you should consult your doctor before the treatment.

If the symptoms continue you should consult a neurologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
