What Causes Dizziness After Applying Voltaren Gel Around The Ears?

I ve been using voltaren gel 1 frequently, rubbing on my neck near my left ear. Now I started to experience dizziness. My Dr said my dizziness has something to do with crystals inside my ear. When laying down I cannot turn my head on left side...ceiling starts to spin. Does it have anything to do with rubbing voltaren gel near left ear?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I think the dizziness you are experiencing has nothing to do with rubbing Voltaren gel near ear. It has to do with the particles in inner ear known as Meniere's disease. You have to visit your otolaryngologist.

Take care.

Hope I have answered your question.

Best regards.
