Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son is 14 years old and has had at least 3 separate instances of dizziness accompanied by headache. He has had no impact or concussion to cause this. He is active in sports but I don t know if he is finally hitting puberty and that is causing this or what it could possibly be. Stress?
Dizziness accompanied by headache may be due to dehydration or too much physical work or migraine, middle ear infection or heat stroke or hypotension etc. Most of the dizziness cases subside by itself when there is no underlying pathology. You can take analgesics with antihistamines (cinnarizine) on as and when required basis. If problem persists then you should consult physician and investigation shoud be done thoroughly.
