Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding difficulty in swallowing solid food. By your this symptom I would like to tell you that main causes or diseases for such symptoms are-

1- Foreign body at pyriform fossa of throat.

2- Growth pyriform fossa in throat.

3- Esophageal stricture.

4- Neoplasm oesophagus.

All above has got their own clinical features so they may be differentiated and diagnosed by thorough clinical examination and investigation (upper G.I.Endoscopy).

Regards.
