What Causes Discomfort Back And Painful Breathing?
I woke up this morning with discomfort in right back kidney area. As the day progressed it got worse. Hurts to breathe. The pain tightens up like a muscle spasm. Feel better sitting up than laying down. Moving just an inch can cause the tightening and takes my breath away then the tightening goes away. Also have developed a migraine but no fever, temp is normal. Not sure if I should go to the emergency room that I can t afford.
Hi Welcome to healthcaremagic I have gone through your query and understand your concern. You are probably having acute disc prolapse. It can be confirmed by MRI of lumbar spine. Its treatment is rest in lateral position with both hips and knees flexed.Analgesic such as ibuprofen is given for pain relief. If pain is not relieved by ibuprofen then strong analgesic such as tramadol can be given. Second possiblity is simple muscular pain. Rest and analgesic is its treatment. You can exclude kidney related causes by sonography of abdomen. You can discuss with your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered.
