What Causes Discharge Of Yellow Mucus With Flatulence?

So, the last couple of days i've been feeling the need to pass wind, as i do so, a yellow, jelly like substance comes with it. I wouldn't say I have eaten any different to usual. I had a cold but that passed and this came along. Any help on what to do to stop this so I return to normal. Not really feeling a visit to the doctors if possible :)

Im 16 years old, girl, never had this before and a bit worried of what is happening :(

thanks xx

Hello,

It is nothing but the dyspepsia that might be causing such thing, and it could have been the un-digested diet, sometime it could be an intestinal infection, but I would advise you to change the diet first.

Avoid taking a heavy meal such as fat-containing diet, fried, or oily diet. If the symptom comes again, then it can be managed with tablet Metronidazole twice in a day for five days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
