What Causes Difficulty In Communication?

Male resident 50 years old, post MVA x 34 years with head injury

orchiectomy in history of many years

unable to communicate clearly

Problem: over the last week and half has had green discharge from penis. Does he experience pain with this? and is it reasonable to assume this is an infection without the diagnostic results from a urine C&S?

Hi. I think given his purulent penile discharge it would be prudent to assume an infective cause. It would be important to obtain both a sample of his urine and also a swab of the discharge in order to best decide on which antibiotic regime to use.
