What Causes Diarrhoea And Vomiting Along With Fever?

Hi, my 21 year old son was sick this morning with diarrhea and vomiting. He has been able to keep some clear liquids down and 2 crackers this afternoon and evening. He has just developed a fever. Would this be a flu or could it be listeria (he ate Sabra hummus last weekend and we see there is a lead time for it to develop). Any suggestions?

It is due to some sort of gastric infection most probably. For this he take some antibiotics after an expert opinion like droxyl or metrogyl with domstal or onset empty stomach for vomiting. For fever he can take calpol or paracparacetamol every 8-12 hourly. Do cold sponging to reduce the temperature. Maintain hydration of his body.
