General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
vomiting, chills and diarrhoea could be due to acute gastroenteritis, viral gastroenteritis, diverticulitis etc.
You should have undergone routine blood with ESR, electrolytes, urea, creatinine and stool (R/ M and ova)examinations.
You should be given antibiotics with anaerobic bacteria coverage
(quinolones with ornidazole) with antispasmodic, water and electrolyte replacements, with probiotics like lactobaccillus, racecadotril etc.
Avoid chicken salad or soup untill the infective diarrhoea gets subsides.
Have only light and liquid diet.
Thanks.
