What Causes Diarrhea,flatulence And Weight Loss?

Five years ago I had and was treated for colorectal cancer and have been clear of symptoms since. I have familial gene fault Lynch syndrome which makes me more prone to this and other cancers including stomach cancer. This past week I have not been able to retain food through bad diarrhea whereby everything I take in comes out like pumpkin soup with huge amounts of gas. I am very conscious of any possible reoccurrence of any cancers and am concerned this could be one of the signs. I have no pain and generally feel good but have lost some weight.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of operated colo-rectal cancer 5 years back and have Lynch syndrome. Now for the past week you are unable to retain anything, whatever you consume comes out with gases.
I was wondering with such a sincerity you have noted above and have not yet consulted the Surgeon in spite you are suffering for about a week.
I would advise you the following:
Go to Er for clinical evaluation and urgent investigations .
Upper GI Endoscopy.
X-ray of the abdomen in standing position.
CT scan and further tests as required o get a proper diagnosis, to rule out cancer in the stomach and colonoscopy to see for the recurrence of colorectal cancer.
Also tests the stool, blood and urine and get an appropriate treatment.
