Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m a 58 yr old female and I ve had diarrhea for approximately 3 1/2 wks. I searched online and found that it is called a fluffy stool. I basically eat healthy, except for around Thanksgiving I d eaten more oatmeal cranberry cookie dough than I know I should have. The one ingredient I guess may have been the eggs? No fever.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of diarrhea despite eating healthy which seems to be due to infection by H. Pylori leading to gastroenteritis. It could be due to disturbed electrolyte metabolism of body as well. Need not to worry at all. I would suggest you to ensure you are giving adequate hydration, oral intake and replenishing water to avoid salt losses. Visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined. You should go for complete examination and start treatment after that. Intravenous fluid administration is also recommended. Don't panic. You should give oral rehydration solution. Give combination of antibiotic along with antihistamine medication.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
