General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think the problems of alternating diarrhea and constipation may not be related much to COPD. It is more probably related to irritable bowel syndrome.
He can spot certain foods which can make it worse and avoid them. Also taking probiotics such enterogermina is advisable.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
