What Causes Diarrhea And Lower Abdominal Pain While On Metronidazole And Ciprofloxacin?
Yes, I went to urgent care on Friday and was given 2 antibiotics metronidazole and ciprofloxacin 500 mg I am having pain in my lower stomach and very loose stools. I also developed a large red rash on my leg after taking 4 pills so I need to know if I should go back in

The abdominal pain and diarrhea can be caused with antibiotic use and also skin rash. You will need to go back to your doctor and let him know of these symptoms so he can decide if he needs to give you specific treatment for the symptoms and if you need to go on antibiotics or not.Meanwhile take some probiotics for the bowel problem and also some benadryl for the rash and see your doctor as soon as possible.
