Hi, I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Answer: Sometimes cortisone injection cause atrophy (shrinkage) of the tissues (fats) under the skin which usually resolves in upto two months time. If that does not happen and you are concerned, then you should see a skin specialist who will advise on further management. They may use a filler to fill the dent.

Hope this helps. And please do not hesitate to contact me for any further clarification.
