What Causes Delayed Periods?

my wife mense period 24/12/13 to 27/12/13. i had sex with her on 28/12/13 at night with out any protection. she takes unwated 72 on 29/12/13. today is 2nd february 2014 no sign of period start. i had take pregnancy test on 28/1/14 and 1/2/14 and both the time result is negetive. so what is cause of delay period?

Hello,

It might be a side effect of the emergency pill. It changes the hormonal balance and may cause a delayed or early period. It will be alright. But just to be sure, your wife should run a test " Blood for HCG". It is a more sensitive test than urine for pregnancy tests.
