What Causes Delayed Periods?

I took postinor 2 on 3rd May 2015. My period due date was 18th May but it came early on 15th May. Now my next cycle was due on 8th June but until now i have not received my periods. It is 9 days delayed. I carried out a HPT on 15th June but it came out Negative. I have never had any delayed period and last time i used postinor2 was last year Aug 2014. Please help

I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.

Postinor 2 If taken within 24 hours, 95% chance of preventing pregnancy & not 100% protective. Also it might affect your next cycle based on the due of your ovulation.

I advice you to,
- do serum beta HCG test which is more reliable than HPT to rule out pregnancy.
- Consult your gynaecologist for further assistance.
