What Causes Delayed Periods And Brown Vaginal Discharge?

hello, I am 26 ,married. I have missed my periods this month for quite some days. Last month I had taken an emergency pill(i-pill) . cause i had unprotected sex.For about after 10 days or so of my periods last month i noticed some dark brown discharge, which lasted for 3-4 months.my regular periods are painful and i have a history of PCOS, but not effective effects of the same. My cycle is generally of 31-33 days

Hello there. Emergency pill can lead to some hormonal imbalance in the body which may lead to delayed periods in the next cycle. You said that you have PCOD .PCOD can be treated with a course of metformin.You can consult your gynaecologist regarding the same. also if you are overweight, losing some weight will also help to improve your condition.
