What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking Higher Adderall Dosage?

Hi, three weeks ago I got a increase in prescription adderall (by 5 mg) and my period is two weeks late, I also got an increase of lexapro (by 5mg) two weeks ago. Should I talk to my doctor about it or wait to see. There is no possibility I could be pregnant and I am not on any other medications or vitamins. I also have not increased my physical activity recently.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for your question. I do understand your pain and discomfort. I have seen many cases with similar complaints. Please find my advice below-:
1)Do an Ultrasound exam (Trasvaginal) to ruled out ovarian cyst
2)Do a full blood count with differential and correct anemia by oral iron or injectable iron .
3)Do a pregnancy test to ruled out pregnancy
4)Do a Fasting blood sugar and TSH to ruled out endocrinology disorder
After it management is good-
I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me.
Wishing you all the best.
Thanks,
I find this answer helpful
