i had delay in my periods this time by 10 days, went to doctor and she suggested Regestrone, after taking 2 tablets i got my periods but it was a scant one, dint have the regular like how i used to get. My cycle is for 28 days and was perfect. I had but Meprate and B Long, could this be the reason for delay this time?

Hi, Thanks for the query. I understand your concern Meprate is a progesterone preparation &is liable to cause delay in period. . Regesrone is also a progesterone like Drug... it might have been given when the withdrawal bleeding after stopping Meprate pills... so you got scanty bleeding on 2nd day of Regestrone pills. You should stop taking regestrone &wait for bleeding to come ... it may take 8-10 days . See your gynecologist after you finish bleeding. Thanks.
