What Causes Delayed Periods After A Miscarriage?

Hello my name is justice, my miscarriage bleeding went off on August 11, 2016. I still have not had my menstraul cycle just yet although I did gave brown discharge between Aug 31st and Sept 1st. Very light though. When will I likely get my menstrual?

After a miscarriage the normal hormonal cycle essential for regular menstruation is altered. Psychological status may also play a role in this specially after a miscarriage. Your menstruation cycle will be starting regularly after 3 months if you don't have other physical illnesses and had regular menstruation in the past. Brown color discharge following miscarriage is not abnormal.
