Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I got my period may 10 and did not receive it the 10th of June I took 2 pregnancy test both came out negative they were took in the morning to be accurate my period finally came June 17th it was heavy lasted 4 days well it s July 17th I should get it today but I haven t could I be pregnant ?
It is normal to have delay in periods for 3-4 days. If it's more than a week to 10 days, it might be due to - pregnancy if you had unprotected sex: - Stress - Changes in weight (low birth weight or obesity) - PCOS etc.
I advise you to: - Wait for a week and then repeat a HPT or for accurate results do serum beta HCG test - Keep yourself stress free and DO YOGA - Take nutritious diet - Take iron and calcium supplements
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya Vasudevan, General & Family Physician
