What Causes Delayed Period After Taking I-pill?

hello doc ! I Am a Teenager .. on 7th afternoon I had sex with my bf ..unprotected.. when he penetrated am 101% sure that his sperm dint enter .. but I m scared of the pre-ejaculation ..the previous day of sex he told me he had masturbated but later he urinated .. since I was scared of pre ejaculation I took I pill within 48 hours .. that is on 8 sept .. today it is 15 sept ..n I dont hav my periods yet .. d date for my periods was on 9th ..I m really tensed ..kindly help .. (I m even pretty sure his pre ejaculation also din enter) can I be pregnant? Please help am too stressed..thanku

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) You have rightly takwn I pill within 24 to 72 hours of unprotected sex act, your delay in getting the periods can be due to I pill.

3 ) Still I will suggest you to get mornings first sample of urine tested for pregnancy, if you don't start your periods within a span of a week.

Please get proper sex counselling done. This will help to know about safe and protected sex activity. It will help to prevent pregnancy and STD s.
