What Causes Delayed Menstruation Despite Taking Oral Contraceptive?

Hi doc. Im 22 yrs.i didnt had period for 3 mnth. So doc suggest me medroxyprogesterone acetate tablet.bt before takeing it i had sex with my bf n took ipill within 48 hrs n after one day i start taking medroxy. Tablt.bt still not having period...whats the problem?

hello user,first do urine pregnancy test,if single line..Do not worry,after taking medroxyprogestrone acetate you should wait for 7 to 10 days to get your period.Delayed period can be due to stress,pcod,hormonal imbalance,overweight etc.
