Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
First of all i want to ask you which birth control pill your girlfriend took after 2 days of sexual intercourse.
If she has taken the emergency contraceptive pill or a plan B pill(morning after pill), then she needs not to worry. Pregnancy chance is very less. Delayed period is a common side effect due to high dose of levonorgestrel in the emergency contraceptive pill. Therefore her periods might be delayed or 1-2 cycles.
If she has taken regular contraceptive pill, which comes in pack of 21 days or so. Taking regular birth control pill may not prevent pregnancy.

Refer to a gynaecologist

Hope this information helps
