What Causes Darkening In The Areola During Pregnancy?

hello,I have symptoms of a pregnant woman,and I have regular periods which range from 3-5 days..my menstral cycle was every 2nd day of the month this is my last regular period NOV 2. i have 30day cycle all the time..last november we tried to conceived a baby with my husband, I got only one day period on the december 9 and on january 6 still one day period and today febuary 20 i have a period....I had pregnancy test the urine test it was all negative,i did also the hpt its all negative also..but i do have swollen breast,darkening of my areola,all the common signs of a pregnant women..I'm so confuse,what this all about,am I pregnant?or not?are these decidual bleeding? and when I had my period last night,its stick blood with mucous that looks like a placenta,a string like,I duno whats this...

If the pregnancy tests you have been doing were correctly done, then you are not pregnant and other possibility as to your troubling bleeding pattern have to be looked at.

I will recommend, you re-do home pregnancy test with early morning urine, if its positive, then you are pregnant.

If on the contrary it is negative, then do an ultrasound to rule out Polycystic ovarian syndrome, infections and let your gynecologist follow you up.
