Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your complain, I would like to inform you that Panderm Plus cream is a steroid based cream containing a combination of antibiotic, antifungal and steroid agents.

Steroid creams initially shows wonderful effects on face by reducing pigmentation and brightening the face. But long-term use has severe side effects like skin thinning, pimples, inflammation, rashes, itching, excess hairgrowth and dilated veins under the skin.

As your skin turned back to dark tone after stopping the application of the cream, it is one of the drawbacks of using steroid cream. But, I would suggest you not to start using the cream again as in future it can cause even more deleterious effects.

You can start using safe depigmentation creams and facewash like salicylic acid and glycolic acid containing facewash, kojic acid, arbutin and glycolic acid creams etcetera.

You can apply Vitamin E gel at night. You can also apply creams containing Grapeseed extract and Licorice extract. Exfoliate your skin twice a week with a gentle scrub. Limit sun exposure and apply sunscreen lotion when exposed to sun.

You can also go for treatments like photofacial, chemical peel and microdermabrasion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Honey Arora
