What Causes Crusty Scabs On Outer Part Of Ear And Itchiness?

I keep getting crusty scabs on the outer part of my ear canal they get extremely itchy and it almost feels like there is something crawling or moving in there. I have been to the doctors a couple of times and they give me a ointment which clears it up but as soon as I stop using it comes straight back. is there any way to stop it completely?

Hi,
From history it seems thst you might be having Otomycosis i.e. fungal infection in ears.
due to severe itching there might be having some soreness causing crust formation.
Put some anti-fungal ear drops for some time.
Keep external ear and ear canal dry.
Do not allow water entering into ear canal while taking shower.
Ok and take care.
