What Causes Cramps And Stiffness In The Legs?

I was always very healthy I moved and was here for 17yrs I got breast cancer which I do not believe had anything to do with this, but I have cafes cramps where my foot and leg cramp up and I cannot deal with it , it makes my leg feel stiff and very painful I did get pneumonia it lasted for a long time got very ill lost 100 lbs I was sick for about a yr. I have memory loss from that .I did gain some weight back but if I get colds it turns into a flu Now jumping a bit I was told I had Broncitis very scary. later I got chronic kidney disease stage four, then I went to see a dr. and the doctor told me, so you have copd. I did not know that. My daughter also has been sick right now she has thyroid cancer and a few other things. we both now have a pretty long list of different things. Well about 6 months before my landlord died he told me that there was asbestos in the house. he died a yr ago. I am now going to a cancer center where they are trying to figure out what is wrong with me my skin got thin blood starts inside my skin then rises to the top and will break through my skin and bleed. They say that they are worried about my blood cells not having enough of one to keep me healthy but they are still concerned at what is wrong with me. I believe it might be from asbestos, I don t know but because of my insurance I seem to have very short appointments, but they do seem concerned I could go on but I would be here for ever and I do not want to take up your time. that is my email address it is valid!don t know why it is coming up enter valid e-mail address

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Based on your writing, it seems like an allergic reaction. And I think it is serious. If you were my patient, I would have recommended you to go to the hospital or ER (Emergency Room).

It seems due to a change in medicine or food allergy. It can occur again, and might be much severe.

You take an antihistamine medication. You might need corticosteroids IV and some hours of follow up in the hospital.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anila Skenderi
