I was 6 week +-3 days pregnant when I started medicinal abortion under doctor supervision. Today is 3rd day and I have taken 2 tablets orally and 2 vaginally at 5 am as prescribed. But just after 15 min I started having sever cramps in my lower abdomen and I took meftal spas for pain relief. I still do not have any relief and have sever cramps every half hour. Also I have a vomiting feeling and I do vomit every 1 hour from last 3 hours. My doctor said it s normal and meftal spas will give me relief. But I don t feel any relief. Could you please tell me any other medications for pain relief and vomiting.
Hello, I have gone through your query. Here are your answers: 1. The medication used for inducing the abortion has the side effects you are experiencing. The cramps are due to the uterine contractions induced. If you need any medication to stop vomiting, you can use ondansetron or loperamide or domperidone. Please maintain proper fluid electrolyte balance to avoid dehydration. You may use higher analgesics like tramadol if there is no relief with the medication you have used. Another antispasmodic like buscopan also may be used. Hope this helps.
