What Causes Craking Noise And Mild Pain In Knees Long After Lifting Heavy Objects?
Hello, I m concerned about both of my knees I lifted a very heavy slab in my garden nine months ago after I had pain in my right knee when I was driving my car which disappeared after a few months but has left me now with crunching noises when walking up the stairs in both knees I had a slight pain this will come and go. I also had a pain in my side this is now getting better. I m a 49year woman who has been fit and healthy. Rebecca
dear friend The crunching sound you feel in your kneed is called crepitus in medical jargon and is an indicator of setting in of osteoarthritis. it typically gives pain while walking up the stairs.
you can have a long pain free knee use if you start on physiotherapy to strengthen your calf and thigh muscles.
certain supplements which supposedly preserve the cartilage also help you may want to discuss it with your orthopedician
