What Causes Cough With Phlegm And Constricting Feeling In Throat?
I had cervical neck surgery in June 2011. Since then I have developed a severe cough, cpehoke on my food at times and at night my throat feels like it is constricting and I cough and gag as a result. I usually bring up some clear saliva-type flem (for lack of a better word) but lately it has been a yellowiish color. Is this related to the meck surgery and how? Thanks, Dan

this may not be related to ur neck surgery.
but general anaesthesia needs intubation ( tube insertion into ur throat.
that might have caused u this symptoms.
take serratiopeptide tab twice daily and do salt water gargling .
