What Causes Cough And Red Bumps On Tongue Near Throat?
Age 24, Osha female,constant cough at night for last 3 days ,red bumps on tongue near throat ,white coating on tongue and sometime blackish color, have a wisdom tooth embedded in gums causing infection and not taking any allopathic medicine Pl advise whether i should take antibiotics,cough is very bad at night.

Typically the onset of fever with throat pain that leads to difficulty in swallowing due to pain or development of yellowish pus or follicles in the tonsils/throat are the usual indications for antibiotics.
In your case you have cough, red bumps on throat and back of tongue (maybe lingual tonsillitis) and whitish or blackish coating on the tongue (maybe a yeast infection) with no fever and an impacted wisdom tooth. In my opinion you can start yourself on some antiseptic oral mouthwashes three times a day before and after meals for 5 days (Do not swallow) and take an over the counter anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen 500 mg twice a day after meals for 5 days. If you develop fever or pain worsens then so see your physician for a course of antibiotics.
