What Causes Cough After Eating Peanuts?

When I eat too much, peanuts or anything sweet it is making me sick. I have a cough when I have this and it is a gagging cough-I have gotten sick a couple times from this. Sugar seems to make everything worse. I also have an IUD and am getting close to 50. Do I have diverticulitis or a stomach ulcer? I do know from having an endoscopy and family history I do not produce enough stomach acid. I am about 20 lbs overweight and do not exercise.

Sugar causes acidity and that could be reason you feel sick.
being sick is a broad term, you need to tell exactly how you feel.
not diverticulitis but it could be a ulcer.
as you are overweight you need to be screened for diabetes and heart diseases.
