What Causes Continuous Spotting During Menstrual Cycle?

Hi doctor, I m 18 years old . 3 monthes ago I had extra weight so I put my self on diet and started exercising and I worked but 3 weeks a go I started to notice spots of blood in my underwear.Last week my period came earlier and lasted for 2 days but spotting is continuing ...what should I do ... dose this indicate something wrong with my diet ?

Hello,

Such changes in the menstrual cycle can be noticed during stressful times like starting a new diet. exercise etc. The spotting will likely subside once your body accustomed to the new routine.
If you are sexually active, take a home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.
