What Causes Continuous Periods For Three Weeks?

I ve been married for a month and a week after our marriage, I got my period. With only one day of break, I ve been bleeding for there weeks. The second week was after working out too hard. I felt pain in my lower abdominal and began to spot a little. Then the bleeding turned into a brownish liquid leak in which I was using 2-3 light day liners. The the following week the blood flow was up and down on lightness and heaviness. I have a history of having a period twice a month (coming a second time after working out too hard)or if I dont get enough sleep I ll bleed early or have a second period. Since marriage I have been waking up several times a night but it does not take long before I fall asleep again. Any thoughts about what is going on with my body?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As of now you can take drugs like tranexemic acid to control bleeding. Generally it will settle by itself. If bleeding persist you can consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
