What Causes Constipation Post Typhoid Treatment?
On Sept 8 I had fever gradually it increased on getting it tested i was diagnosed with typhoid Fever.. after completing my course of 15 Days.... Now I m facing acidity issues and stool isn t passing Because of the same. I never had constipation problem before typhoid.. In my fever days also i never faced acidity issues.. I think it might be because of the antibiotics .. Please suggest? Thanks

Dear due use of antibiotics lead change of intestinal flora which may lead to constipation.
Use high fibre diet,use cap. Gut ok twice a day for five days, Syrp. duphalac 30ml at night. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
